Beetle Kill Sequoia

Unkillable sequoias are now being killed by bark beetles. Their 2-foot thick bark is no longer an effective deterrent because forest stress is greater than any time during the life multi-millennial life of these giants. This one is in Sequoia National Monument, just south of Sequoia National Park.
