Sierra National Forest, Black Mountain Grove, Pier Fire. We camped in this fire for two nights. There were so few people, we parked in the middle of a logging road intersection and made camp. Not a vehicle came by. Shortly after arriving, my legs turned to rubber; Jeannie was still sitting in the suburban and she thought I was shaking the truck on purpose.
