One Dune Remains

South Padre Island, milepost 10 . Very little shows what’s going along our wild barrier island beaches better than this drone shot. The lone dune remaining has been sheered off into the surf. The rest of the dunes are simply gone. The tide wases the foot of the dune as this photo was taken, eroding dunebergs into the surf. This is a low resolution drone screen capture so we can’t enlarge but up to about 24 inches.
