Teton Red

  • November 13, 2021

None of our national treasures are safe – Snake River, Grand Teton National Park lodgepole pine redkill. A little warming, at most a half degree C warming above natural variability, has activated the collapse of our Earth’s ecologies. These collapses, or Earth systems climate tipping collapses, will not reverse unless the perturbation is removed. In other words, the collapses complete with no further warming resulting in existential scenarios unless we cool Earth back to within the boundaries of the evolution of its systems.
